Hiking in Afghanistan is arranged from operational travel hubs — not as a freestanding catalog of named trailheads with guaranteed schedules.
How it works
From each active hub, day hikes and viewpoint walks can be scoped around current road access, weather, and local guidance. Routes vary by region — highland valleys near Bamyan, foothill walks around Kabul, and corridor day options from other hubs when conditions allow.
Hub listings mean we can arrange hiking from that hub. They are not automatic tour inclusions.
What we do not invent
AfghanTours does not publish invented trail names, timed summit guarantees, or fixed package prices on this page. Specific outing details are confirmed during planning.

Hiking often pairs with sightseeing days and, in the central highlands, with longer Bamyan stays. Multi-day highland walking arranged from Faizabad belongs under Trekking.
